The following Virginia jails are within FPA’s region of service for court-appointed competency, sanity, and sex offense evaluations. The jails highlighted in red are the ones we visit the most frequently and thus the ones for which we can provide the quickest service.
We can travel to jails beyond the ones listed below for cases that can pay for the travel time, such as: sexually violent predator commitment evaluations, privately retained psychosexual evaluations, death penalty /capital sentencing mitigation and rebuttal assessments.
